International Center for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue

International Center for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue

The International Center for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue carries out scientific and research, didactic and commercial tasks related to intercultural and interreligious dialogue.

The tasks of the Center include conducting interdisciplinary research and development work, as well as initiating and conducting interreligious dialogue while maintaining theological and religious pluralism.

The unit participates and supports UKSW students in international exchange projects. It conducts educational activities in the field of knowledge about mutual relations, history, culture and heritage of nations on individual continents, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, defense of human rights and education for patriotism.

When conducting research, the Center cooperates with domestic and foreign scientific, cultural and economic institutions. Its goal is to develop international scientific cooperation.

In 2016, the Center received the “Mały Feniks” award from the Association of Catholic Publishers. The jury appreciated the popularization of the idea of intercultural and interreligious dialogue in the mass media, the production of television and radio programs and educational activities.

In Kołobrzeg, the unit runs the Center for International Dialogue and Ecumenism, which acts as the university’s “house of creative work”.
