The aim of the Institute is to conduct scientific research and educate in the field of mathematics.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main directions of scientific research conducted at the Institute of Mathematics are differential geometry, geometric control theory, differential equations, partial differential equations and topology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UKSW scientists also undertake research on set theory, fixed points and dimension theory, financial and insurance mathematics, optimization and variation analysis, functional analysis, logic and category theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
