The application submitted by the University for mobility of students and staff from EU countries and third countries associated with the Erasmus+ programme received funding in the amount of \u20ac929,035.00.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 I am pleased with the continuous development and activity of the International Cooperation Office and the undertaking of new initiatives that increase the possibilities of expanding international cooperation by enabling UKSW students and staff to participate in academic exchanges. It is very important for us to deepen international collaboration, and thanks to the acquired funding, we will be able to do this even better than before \u2013 said Rev. Prof. Ryszard Czekalski, Rector of UKSW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new feature for the upcoming year will be the coordination by UKSW\u2019s International Cooperation Office of two Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP), which will be held at our university in cooperation with partner universities. Another novelty in the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme at UKSW will be short-term blended internships for our students and doctoral candidates, combining physical and virtual mobility. This will be possible thanks to the increased funding for activities under Erasmus+ compared to last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 2024\/2025 academic year, the International Cooperation Office, together with various faculties, participated in the Erasmus+ BIP, short, intensive learning programmes facilitating teamwork and the exchange of experiences based on e-learning and cooperation. However, it is only from the 2025\/2026 academic year that UKSW will become the main coordinator of two BIP programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following training sessions took place under Erasmus+ BIP in the 2024\/2025 academic year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coimbra, Portugal \u2013 University of Coimbra, \u201cSocial work and sustainability\u201d for students of sociology and social work (Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rome, Italy \u2013 Universit\u00e0 Europea di Roma<\/strong>, \u201cRome at the origins of Europe. The legacy of a multilayered city\u201d for law students (Faculty of Law and Administration) and canon law (Faculty of Canon Law).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ru\u017eomberok, Slovakia \u2013 Catholic University in Ru\u017eomberok<\/strong>, \u201cPlurality in History: Theory and Case Studies\u201d for students of history, archaeology, and cultural heritage management (Faculty of Historical Sciences).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caen, France \u2013 Universit\u00e9 de Caen Normandie<\/strong>, \u201cCommon Law of Contracts in a Comparative Perspective\u201d for law students (Faculty of Law and Administration).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naples, Italy \u2013 Universit\u00e0 degli studi di Napoli Federico II<\/strong> \u2013 and Corfu, Greece \u2013 Ionian University<\/strong>, \u201cCriminal Law: cases and issues through history. Aspects of ancient and modern Law\u201d for law students (Faculty of Law and Administration).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Recognizing the willingness of UKSW staff to participate in teaching and training exchanges, we decided to boldly apply for higher funding than in previous years. I hope that as the funding increases, the desire to establish international cooperation will also grow. All of this impacts our quality, both in terms of teaching and research. I encourage everyone to apply for exchanges in the coming academic year. I also hope that many foreign lecturers will join us, with whom we already have excellent relations \u2013 concludes Rev.
