Nine students from the Faculty of Law and Administration at UKSW participated in the European Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program titled “Law of Contracts – Civil Law and Common Law Countries” in May and June of this year.
The program was organized by the Universite de Caen Normandie in France in cooperation with UKSW, the University of Würzburg, and the European University in Madrid. It consisted of two parts. The first part was conducted remotely, while for the second part, the students travelled to Caen.
The program was very popular as it provided a valuable opportunity to acquire knowledge in the field of comparative contract law, including English and American law. Additionally, students from Poland, France, Germany, and Spain actively participated in workshops where they compared the legal solutions in these countries. The program also offered an excellent opportunity for international experience exchange and for gaining skills in functioning in a multicultural environment.
This was the first Erasmus + Blended Intensive Programme-type program implemented at our University. It was organized by Dr. Maciej Hulicki from the Faculty of Law and Administration at UKSW and UKSW International Relations Department.
