Institute of Computer Science

The Institute is a unit of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. UKSW School of Science.

The Institute of Computer Science has been operating at UKSW since 2014. The unit focuses on IT research from a technical perspective. This specialty determines the identity and development prospects of the unit.

The scientific staff of the Institute consists of both experienced scientists who previously cooperated with the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Warsaw University of Technology, the Silesian University of Technology or the University of Warsaw, as well as young researchers involved in the development of new information technologies.

The Institute cooperates scientifically with renowned universities, such as the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, Le Havre University in France and the Belarusian State University in Minsk.

The unit is responsible for educating students in full-time and part-time studies in the field of IT.
