Institute of Mathematics

The Institute is a unit of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. UKSW School of Science.

The aim of the Institute is to conduct scientific research and educate in the field of mathematics.

The main directions of scientific research conducted at the Institute of Mathematics are differential geometry, geometric control theory, differential equations, partial differential equations and topology.

UKSW scientists also undertake research on set theory, fixed points and dimension theory, financial and insurance mathematics, optimization and variation analysis, functional analysis, logic and category theory.
