Cooperation with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), Tangerang, Indonesia

We have established cooperation with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), located in Tangerang, Indonesia.

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara is a modern and dynamically developing university, founded in 2005. It holds the highest institutional accreditation level (“A”) granted by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia. UMN conducts educational and research activities within four main faculties:

  • Business,
  • Communication,
  • Technology and Informatics,
  • Art and Design.

The university specializes in education in the fields of economics, management, journalism, communication, digital media, and information technology. A strong emphasis on the practical application of knowledge, combined with well-developed teaching infrastructure – including a modern campus and the “New Media Tower” technology center – makes UMN one of the most innovative universities in the Southeast Asian region.

As part of the established cooperation, UKSW and UMN plan to undertake joint scientific and educational initiatives, particularly in the fields of:

  • economics,
  • journalism and media communication,
  • exchange of academic experience and joint research projects.

The result of this collaboration will be a joint application under the Erasmus+ KA171 programme (2026 edition), which will enable student and staff mobility between the two universities.

The partnership with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara represents another step in the international development of UKSW and will contribute to strengthening the university’s position in the field of education and research on the global stage.
