Institute of Psychology

The UKSW Institute of Psychology conducts research in all fundamental areas of psychology. It also implements various types of implementation projects.

The unit has six departments: Methodology of Psychological Research, Psychology of Personality, Cognitive Psychology, Psychology of Development, Education and Family, Psychology of Individual Differences and the Department of Social Psychology.

The Institute runs uniform master’s studies, a psychology path at the UKSW Doctoral School and a number of post-graduate studies. The center has the right to confer doctorates and habilitations.

The Scientific Circle of Psychology Students of UKSW operates at the Institute. The unit publishes its own magazine “Studia Psychologica: Theoria et praxis”. There is also a network of Community Mental Health Centers at the Institute.
