Full-time studies for which the admission procedure is conducted (i.e. a ranking list is created on the basis of certain criteria)

A printed personal questionnaire of the candidate, completed by filling out the form available on the personal recruitment account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate.
An application for an electronic student ID card (ELS), printed from the candidate’s personal recruitment account and signed by him.
Matriculation certificate in the original.
In the case of studies conducted in Polish, a certificate translated into Polish by a sworn translator or certified by the consul of the Republic of Poland in the country where the document was issued is required. The list of sworn translators is available on the website of the Ministry of Justice.
If you have a secondary school certificate obtained abroad, you must submit a document certifying the legality of the certificate (legalization or apostille) and an administrative decision to recognize the secondary school certificate obtained in a foreign education system as entitling to study in the higher education system of the Republic of Poland, unless the recognition of the secondary school certificate obtained abroad as equivalent to the Polish secondary school certificate does not take place pursuant to Art. 93 sec. 1-2 of the Education Act.
1. Matriculation certificates that are recognized by law in Poland:

“Matura” matriculation certificates obtained in the education systems of the European Union countries, the European Free Trade Agreement – European Economic Area and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), i.e. high school graduation certificates or diplomas, matriculation certificates or diplomas or other documents that entitle you to apply for admission to higher education in the country whose education system issued them and have been issued by a school or educational institution recognized by the state on whose territory or in whose educational system the school or institution operates.

Certificate of knowledge of the Polish language, at least at B2 level, issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language or a certificate confirming the completion of at least B2 level of a one-year preparatory course for studying in Polish in the units designated by the minister competent for higher education, i.e. Polish language schools for foreigners operating at academic centers or a certificate confirming the completion of the Polish language exam conducted centrally by the Faculty of Humanities of UKSW – in the case when studies are conducted in Polish and the candidate has a high school diploma obtained abroad. For the faculties of:
1. theology, canon law: a certificate from a catechist or parish priest of the place of residence (in the case of former students of diocesan or religious higher seminaries who are not clergy or religious persons, the consent of the UKSW Grand Chancellor is required; in the case of clergy or religious persons – consent of the superior);
2. journalism and social communication, theology: one photograph in accordance with the requirements applicable to issuing identity cards;
3. nursing (in English): a document confirming the knowledge of English included in the list constituting Appendix 2 to the Regulation of the Prime Minister of 16 December 2009, on the manner of conducting the qualification procedure in the civil service (Journal of Laws 2009.2018.1695)or a document issued by the verification committee verifying the knowledge of the English language;

Diploma or certificate of obtaining the title of laureate or finalist of the central level olympiad – in the case of a candidate exercising the right to obtain the maximum number of points from the entire recruitment process, which entitlement results from the fact of having a diploma of a laureate or finalist of the central degree,
Diploma or certificate of obtaining the title of winner, laureate or finalist of an international or national competition– in the case of a candidate exercising the right to obtain the maximum number of points from the entire qualification procedure resulting from the fact of obtaining the title of laureate or winner or finalist of an international or national competition (including those organized by a university).

If the candidate qualified to submit documents for studies does not have an address in the European Union, then the candidate must provide a valid correspondence address in the EU. Optionally, it will be possible to indicate a proxy residing in the Republic of Poland to conduct the case or a proxy for correspondence delivery in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Diplomas that allow you to continue education at higher-level studies, in which higher education system the university that issued the diploma operates, allow you to continue education at the appropriate level – at second-cycle studies in Poland. The legal basis for recognizing the diploma is specified in Article 326, sections 1 and 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended).

A foreign diploma may also entitle you to undertake second-cycle studies in Poland on the basis of an international agreement, as provided for in Article 327(1) of the Act.

In a situation where the candidate wants to undertake second-cycle studies in Poland, and has a diploma that does not directly give the opportunity to undertake higher education in the country in which it was issued, the candidate must complete the nostrification procedure pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 28 September 2018, on the recognition of diplomas of graduation abroad and confirmation of completion of studies at a certain level (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1881); Regulation on nostrification
