UKSW HRS4R Team
On 12 February 2025, new teams were established – the Steering Committee and the Working Group – tasked with reviewing, updating and implementing key human resources management processes in line with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, with the purpose of fostering a supportive, professional and development‑oriented working environment for academic staff.

Duties of the Steering Committee:
1) verifying the implementation of the Action Plan for the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers
2) identifying actions to be included in the Action Plan
3) setting the direction of the Working Group’s activities
4) reviewing HR strategy ideas and materials prepared by the Working Group
5) monitoring the progress of agreed actions
6) preparing the Action Plan for the next three years.
Duties of the Working Group:
1) presentation of conclusions and recommendations from the analysis of the current situation based on the Action Plan and OTM-R checklists
2) presentation of detailed proposals for the implementation of the principles and actions arising from the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers, as well as the OTM‑R checklist.
3) development and conduct of surveys among academic teachers and doctoral candidates at UKSW
4) preparing presentations, internal regulations, analyses, summaries, and reports
5) designing a concept for promoting the strategy through the UKSW website.
