UKSW carries out research projects in the field of mathematical, physical, medical, technical, natural, theological, humanistic and social sciences. Research is financed from domestic and foreign funds, both from grants from public institutions or projects of non-governmental organizations, as well as orders from business consortia.
Our University conducts a number of research projects financed mainly from the funds of the National Science Center, as well as a subsidy from the Ministry of Education and Science. Our scientists also implement projects promoting science (e.g. the Social Responsibility of Science Program) and projects under the National Program for the Development of Humanities.
Research projects carried out at UKSW mainly concern issues related to law and administration, psychology, history, archaeology, literary studies, theology and exact sciences. Most projects are carried out at the Faculty of Christian Philosophy, the Faculty of Historical Sciences, the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Theology.
Assistance in finding an appropriate source of research funding and support in the preparation of the application is provided by the Scientific Research Office, which deals with formal services for projects financed from non-university funds.
Up-to-date information about the latest discoveries, interesting research projects and obtained grants is published on the home page of UKSW.
