Prof. Liu Pen z Chińskiej Akademii Nauk Społecznych na UKSW

Instytut Socjologii WNHiS UKSW zaprasza wszystkich chętnych na spotkanie z Prof. Liu Pengiem z Chińskiej Akademii Nauk Społecznych, które odbędzie się 15 września br., o godz. 14.00 w s. 201 bud. 23 przy u. Wóycickiego 1/3, kampus im. Ks. Prof. R. Rumianka.

Profesor przedstawi obecną sytuację religii w ChRL. W sposób szczególny omówi stosunki państwo-Kościół, oraz nowe uregulowania prawne w tym względzie.

Będzie możliwość zadawania pytań i dyskusji. Spotkanie będzie prowadzone w języku angielskim.

Krótko o Prof. Liu Peng: Professor Liu Peng is a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Director of the Beijing Pu Shi Institute, an eminent expert on church-state relations in China, and a long-time champion in advocating reform of the administrative regime that regulates religious affairs and establishing the rule of law for religion. He is also well known for his research on religion in the United States. In recent years, his research has mainly focused on the topic of religion and the rule of law. Recently in China he proposed a draft of a new religious law.
