Throughout their history universities have been centres of international exchange for scholars and students.
In the age of globalisation, the possibility and need for international exchange of thought and expertise as well as cooperation with foreign research, development and business centres become a key factor in establishing a competitive position of a University. In view of the fast pace of internationalisation in the area of research, its results, but also University curricula and student and graduate Exchange, the UKSW plans to put special emphasis on intensifying internationalisation of its own research and didactic processes.

UKSW’s activities in this field include above all establishing partnerships with foreign institutions, participation in Erasmus programme, study visits, internships, joint research and publications, exchange of academic teachers, students and research papers. Among our partners there are universities and research institutes from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Spain, Holland, Luxemburg, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, Great Britain and Italy. Intensity of cooperation development is testified by the number of contracts signed with foreign universities.
