Quality of Education

The Internal Quality of Education Assurance system (WSZJK), which has been functioning at UKSW is particularly relevant to:
  • review of the planned learning outcomes through the whole education process in various fields of study together with the assessment of their completion,
  • drawing conclusions from the academic teachers assessment done by students,
  • drawing conclusions from the follow up process of the professional career paths of UKSW graduates,
  • prevention and detection of plagiarism.

In order to assess the learning outcomes achieved by the student in relation to knowledge, skills and social competences in the given field of study , a system of assessment of completion of the expected learning outcomes has been introduced. This system is relevant to all stages and aspects of the teaching process, and the description of procedures has been presented in the following document: ”The UKSW Quality of Education Procedures Guide” which constitutes the Annex to the Directive no. 52/2013 of the UKSW Rector, dated as of 31st July 2013.

The University Commission for the Quality of Education Assessment and Assurance is an advisory organ to the Rector.
Assessment of the Polish and the University Accreditation Commission

13 fields of studies were positively assessed by the Polish Accreditation Commission. Theology studies were additionally accredited by the University Accreditation Commission. Three fields of studies (the Faculty of History and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Christian Philosophy and the Faculty of Law and Administration) have undergone an institutional assessment of the Polish Accreditation Commission.
